Your responsibilities will range from receiving supervision to outbound planning, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance throughout the logistics process.Please note there will be another Logistics & Transport Coordinator with you at the RDC, enabling a more precise dispatch of the responsibilities listed below and back-up when necessary.Responsibilities
- Receiving Supervision:
- Collaborate with Inbound Transport 3PL for efficient receiving operations incl. inbound planning monitoring
- Monitor and ensure the quality of received goods.
- Address the need for additional operations, such as relabeling, when required.
- Logistics Master Data Reporting Monitoring
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data reporting in collaboration with Sephora Collection Master data team
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain continuous alignment between Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies defined by Central teams to optimize stock.
- Outbound Shipments Supervision:
- Verify the coherence of the various elements and files transmitted to the service provider and internal departments
- Supervise outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries incl. outbound planning monitoring
- Customs Information Validation for Canada shipments:
- Verify and validate customs information to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any customs-related challenges.
- Continuous Improvement Advocate:
- Proactively identify and implement enhancements in transport and logistics operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage technology to drive ongoing process improvements.
- Logistics claims management with Warehouse 3PL
- Proficiently manage logistics up to resolution, ensuring swift and effective solutions
- Implement preventive measures to minimize future claim occurrences and enhance overall logistics efficiency
- Exception Management:
- Proactively identify and address exceptions in the logistics process.
- Implement corrective measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- 6/7 years of experience within a Logistics & Transportation organization in the United States
- Customs requirements knowledge would be a plus
- Recognized for your qualities of rigor and organization and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, versatility, and responsiveness.
- Understanding of customer needs and sensitivity to the cosmetics sector.
- Proficiency in Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.) and Microsoft tools (Excel, Power point)
- Knowledge of WMS, ERP and APS/forecasting tools.
