- Maintain a variety of schedules, records, and reports pertaining the tracking of materials through the production cycle and availability of production resources.
- Establish the necessary flow of Production in the plant to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Frequent communication with Sales and Customer Service for customer updates and requests.
- Works closely with Buyers and Quality to improve on time delivery performance.
- Recommend and maintain MRP settings.
- Assist in the Inventory Control function of the plant.
- Ability to cross train within the Materials department to expand abilities and coverage.
REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, supply planning, or purchasing
- Understanding and application of SAP MM functionality
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field, supply chain, or process engineering
PREFERRED
- APICS certification
