We ask all applicants to carefully review the hiring salary range for each posted job opportunity, as we will not hire outside the predetermined range.Position Summary: The Accountant is to provide timely accounting, financial, budget, and analytic review information to administration and to perform necessary accounting duties that contribute to the overall financial well-being of the organization. Position will have a mix of analytic and traditional accounting functions, with varying degrees of complexity and details in support of the Finance department's goals and KPIs.Our ideal candidate for our Accountant position will have their bachelor's degree in Accounting and two (2) years of experience in a professional Accounting position or equivalent with increasing responsibility and complexity in assignments; Preferred Four (4) years of experience in a professional Accounting position or equivalent with increasing responsibility and complexity in assignments.Salary: Starting pay is $55,120.00 (Base rate $49,920 + Locale $5,200.00) - $65,270.40, annually and considers preferred experience.*Locale is applied for in-person and hybrid roles ONLY.Benefits:

Physical demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between AHS locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease.   • Must have a good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to comprehend general ledger, accounts receivable, forecasting, budgeting, contracting and other accounting or financial systems.
  • Must have good analytical skills and produce work in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Must be able to prioritize work effectively in alignment with established goals and objectives.
  • Ability to absorb and understand complicated accounting and fiscal issues.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to follow the organization's confidentiality and security rules.
  • Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to follow guidelines.
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload in an occasionally hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Must have experience working with MS Excel to include working knowledge of graphs, pivot tables, data sorting, and writing formulas
  • Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include MS Word, MS Outlook, and Internet Access.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
  • Must have current driver's license and ability to be commercially insured and maintain a driving record that allows insurability with AHS commercial insurance agency.
  • Must regard work as confidential.
  • Ability to be helpful and sensitive to the needs of all employees, while concurrently respecting corporate policies, procedures, and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; plan own work schedule effectively and multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
