- Monitor, stock, and organize closets, toolboxes, and maintenance areas
- Develop and improve annual maintenance plan/log
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary, within budget
- Maintain equipment and building manuals and warranties
- Maintain and update all daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual logs and manuals to ensure all documentation complies
- Provide knowledgeable guest service to guests and community officials
- Awareness of the guests, community, trends, and facility offerings
- Understand and carry out facility policies and procedures
- Ability to open/close facility on a daily basis
- Ability to think quickly and rationally in times of emergency to prevent further problems
- Maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA to minimize incidents
- Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager
- Dome systems management - pressure, temperature, motors, back up units, etc.
- Maintain overall appearance of the building and perform routine clean-up
- Inventory, organize, and stock up closets, toolboxes, and maintenance areas
- Coordinate cleaning schedule around daily activities
- Manage utilities (lights, temperature controls, heaters, etc.)
- Assemble equipment; maintain, line, prep, and repair playing surfaces
- Schedule and perform maintenance on facility equipment
- Coordinate with vendors on facility repairs and inspections to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of venue resources
- Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the grounds and outdoor playing fields
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work with directors and contractors to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of venue resources
- Monitor all walkways and flower beds and keep clear of weeds, grass, trash, water, ice, etc.
- Operate and maintain sports equipment
- Operate machinery to include but not limited to field grooming equipment, lawn care equipment, snowplows, maintenance utility vehicle
- Clean and maintain parking lot
- Keep inventory of supplies and equipment as well as maintenance logs
- Organize and stock maintenance equipment sheds and storage areas
- Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by Director of Operations
- Bachelor's degree or related degree/certificate to the position
- At least five (5) years of related experience
- CDL preferred
- Must have experience working with venues, schools, universities, or recreation dept.
- General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping
- Prior responsibility in managing a daily P&L, management, and budget oversight
- Knowledge of building internals (sprinkler systems, HVAC systems, plumbing I-T, A/V, alarm systems, and industrial kitchen equipment)
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
- Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership and scheduling abilities for outside vendors & contractors
- Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, audio/visual
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certifications within a specific time period
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
- Pushing/pulling/lifting 50+ pounds
- Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time
- Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e., lift for scoreboards, etc.)
- Facility has intermittent noise
