  • Proactively coordinate the custodial services and monitor the adequacy of services provided
  • Facilitating waste and recycling services
  • Facilitating building and window wash preventative maintenance programme
  • Ensuring the roadworthiness of Property Services registered and non-registered vehicle fleet
  • Instigate preventative and corrective actions to ensure contractual compliance and deliverable outcomes are achieved
  • Ensure consistent delivery of relevant services which adhere to requirements
  • Monitor and audit standards, enabling agreed resolutions
  • Enabling a fit-for-purpose environment for staff, students, and visitors to the University

  • A relevant Higher Education Qualification or professional experience.
  • Proven experience in managing contracted services.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Standards and Worksafe practices.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Windows-based computer systems.
  • Ability to maintain databases, interpret statistics and write clear reports.
Additional InformationMō tō mātou rōpū | About the teamYou will be line managed by our Campus Operations Manager and work closely with other direct members of the wider property team, but you will work with autonomy and support the campus services operational delivery.Your office is located in our city centre campus on Symonds Street.
