Healthy work environment within a small to medium size Community Bank. Traveling as needed, staying in office as needed. Working closely with Senior Commercial Lender, and possibly traveling to different branches if needed for customer support. Looking for someone who is consistent, self-driven, looking to continue growing.Commercial Loan OfficerCommercial Loan Officer work alongside established Commercial lender, learning the industry, and market area. Time will be spent on various styles and sides of loan banking as well. Someone who is self driven, works great with others, with a healthy mentality to manage their time.Commercial Loan Officer Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent.
  • Strong preference to be in the banking industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of Commercial Credit experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Commercial Lending experience is preferred.
  • Strong longevity with previous employers is preferred.
Commercial Loan Officer Responsibilities
  • Expansion, and retention of commercial relationships using a proactive calling strategy.
  • Cross-sell ancillary products and services of the bank.
  • Analyzes credit history of applicants and determines loan repayment capabilities.
  • Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications.
  • Develops and maintains interest rate structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.
  • Daily review, approval, and disposition of commercial overdrafts.
  • Reviews new laws and regulations that influence business lending within the financial institution and makes recommendations to management when necessary.
  • Develops new customer prospects and business.
