Job Description We are on the hunt for an ambitious farm Assistant to join our team.We milk 610 quiet, 100% spring calving pedigree jersey cows through a 50 bail rotary shed utilizing allflex collars and drafting gate. We operate on 210ha effective and fill any feed gaps with two covered feedpads and a mixer wagon. All young stock is grazed off farm from weaning.
We strive to operate a clean, tidy well run farm doing the best we can from our land and the ideal candidate will be fit, keen and strive to progress in the dairy industry. There is plenty of room for career progression in our farming system and we hope to get you to 2ic level within a year or so.To be considered for this position you must have at least one seasons dairy farming experience in New Zealand, be living here now and already hold the appropriate visa. Note we are not accredited employers. We are looking for the best fit for our team.We currently run a 12 and 2 roster but are keen to change this up if it works for everyone in our teamPay will be based on experience and skill but is likely to be between $26-$30phLocated 10 minutes out Warkworth, 45 minutes from Auckland.Please apply with a c.v and two referees
