Job Duties:The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in various activities. The main duties include:
  • Supporting students in their learning and development
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Preparing classroom materials and resources
  • Supervising students during break times and off-site activities
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and documentation
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to create engaging lesson plans
  • Supporting students with special educational needs
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSE or equivalent qualification
  • Any relevent childcare qualification
Experience:Prior experience working in an educational setting, particularly as a teaching assistant, is preferred but not mandatory.Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in Read Write Inc and White Rose Maths programmes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
