Accounting ClerkKenwood Dealer Group4780 Socialville Foster Road, Mason, Ohio 45040Shift Into Your New Role as an Accounting Clerk:Kenwood Dealer Group has a need for an Accounting Clerk. Applicant is responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and correcting accounting schedules and working directly with management on accounting related tasks. Great attention to detail in a high-volume work environment is a must. Applicant will also cross train for other administrative positions in the future in addition to any other duties as assigned. Position will be located in our corporate office on Socialville-Foster near the Mason-Montgomery intersection.Responsibilities
Provide accounting and clerical support
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Function in accordance with established standards, and procedures
Qualifications to Drive Your Career Forward:
2+ years accounting experience
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Competency in MS Office, Excel, hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail and being well organized
Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
Data entry and word processing skills
High school degree / GED
Preference may be given to individuals with:
Experience in automotive administration
Attention to detail; ability to multi-task
CDK experience; advanced computer skills
Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus
