- Conduct analyses, calculations, and develop recommendations associated with electrical system protection concepts including but not limited to:
- Electrical system models development, evaluations, and/or updates.
- Short circuit current calculations.
- Fault and device coordination studies.
- System protection setting recommendations.
- Arc flash incident energy calculations.
- System event analyses.
- Equipment ratings evaluations.
- Perform routine engineering and design tasks and participate in field reviews or construction observation.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Senior Engineer or PM.
- May work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering degree
- Previous internship beneficial
- EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related enginering degree
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required
- 1+ years of experience working directly with electrical system modeling and/or short circuit study software such as CAPE, ASPEN, CYME, ETAP, WindMil, Synergi, or SKM is strongly desired.
- 2+ years of experience doing electrical power system analysis, electrical system planning, protective device application, settings and substation design is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with utility engineering or engineering consulting firm is desired.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation a plus.
- Preference given to local candidates.
