- Implement regional strategies to optimize the network of supply chain operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement in logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve optimization goals within specified timeframes and resource constraints.
- Work with internal stakeholders, including operations, procurement, finance, and IT departments, to ensure alignment and executing the Network optimization projects.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and service providers to leverage their expertise and resources in network optimization initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and communicate updates to management and other stakeholders.
- Identify risks and issues impacting project delivery, and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to sustain and enhance the benefits of network optimization efforts over time.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience managing complex projects, with a focus on logistics network optimization.
- Experience with finished product distribution across North American region for multiple customers.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to chemicals handling and transportation is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
