This role is in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop and refine metadata management processes at BNY Mellon to support data discoverability, data management best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Engage with data leaders and data stewards across BNY Mellon to support data governance activities and drive innovation on data management products and services.
- Set requirements for enhancing our data governance tools to further support stakeholders across the firm and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure high-quality metadata is properly maintained in our enterprise inventory through governance controls.
- Experienced hands-on data and metadata management, from concept to implementation, with a demonstrable track record of delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure. You will have strong analytical and management skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution. The ability to apply backlog prioritization to define sprint goals and enable iterative deliveries is key.
- At least 10 years of total work experience, with enterprise data management or metadata management preferred.
- Experience with gathering requirements from stakeholder, capturing requirements in a Business Requirements Document (BRD), and engaging with technology/engineering teams to review and refine requirements.
