OverviewWe are currently looking for an Information Security Consultant with experience within Financial Services / Investment Banking. You will work as part of a team to understand patterns of data as they apply to a variety of MUSO Banking and Securities products, develop source to target mapping specifications for use by developers, and execute test plans to identify inconsistencies between our source systems and target warehouse objects.Who are we?Treliant is a global consulting firm serving banks, mortgage originators and servicers, FinTechs, and other companies providing financial services. For more information visit .ResponsibilitiesAbout the roleWhile the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:Develop strong value-added relationships with business partners across multiple domains – risk, finance, regulatory reporting, and other IT groups.Demonstrate leadership characteristics, be a passionate, motivated self-starter and an ardent team player with sense of urgency and proactivity in meeting stakeholder expectations.Act as an SME in understanding source system data attribution for alignment to data warehouse target state transactional and analytic models.Apply proven experience in eliciting and validating business requirements and data/interface specifications as applied to MUSO product data constructs and solutions.Conduct business/data analysis and research to validate new requirements and identify patterns and inconsistencies of data across sources and targets as relevant to the underlying product behaviors.Conduct data mining of transactional and reference data for mapping of source system data attributes to target destination, including transformation specifications for implementation conforming to the platform standards and best practices.Lead and drive culture of maintaining evergreen documentation of the strategic platform with respect to MUSO Bank products including but not limited to documenting meeting minutes, mapping of current and target state business processes, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and transparency of effort.Actively participate in Agile processes for successful project executionConstantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customerWho are we looking for?Qualifications & ExperienceLead Business or Data Analyst role with strong data analysis in a large-scale Banking or Finance industrySME level familiarity with Investment Banking products and related subject areas from a data attribution level: Derivatives (OTC (Over The Counter), Fixed Income), Finance (Repos, Reverse Repos), Cash, Loans, Commitments, and related products like Collateral is a MUSTStrong exposure to a Regulatory Reporting data environment is a plus.Effective communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsHighly self-motivated, goal oriented and proactiveStrong documentation and specification writingUnderstanding of Database Design concepts – Dimensional modelling is a huge plusHands on, strong data querying skills to support finance product data analysis and mining efforts involving large sets of data from multiple sources, preferably in a Cloud first environment, is a plus.Programming languages such as SQL, Snow SQLProficiency in understanding database design principles and product, reference data strategic models is a plus.Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, to be used for End-User reports will be a plus.Familiarity/experience with Snowflake data warehouse environments (Snow SQL)Data visualization and data analysis experience (Power Bi, Tableau)Experience with project management tools such as Jira, and ConfluenceProven experience in eliciting requirements and testingExperience in analyzing data to draw relevant business, reporting specific conclusions.Knowledge in generating process documentation (UML Sequence diagrams)Professional SkillsCommunication – advanced interpersonal & communication skills.
