- Install, test, calibrate, repair, and modify various types of electrical/electronic controls for high-speed cigarette manufacturing, tobacco processing, and flexible manufacturing equipment
- Support Profibus, ControlNet, and Ethernet data communication systems.
- Guide productivity/technology projects.
- Accurately follow detailed work instructions for processes, preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety
- Safely and effectively operate industrial forklifts, man lifts, and two-ton trucks
- Replace motors, bearings, cylinders, belt/belt lacing, sprockets, and chains
- Building repairs (floors, walls, ceiling, windows)
- Welding, pipefitting, fabrication, electrical repairs, and replacements
- Troubleshoot variable frequency and DC motor drive systems.
- Install, calibrate, and repair high-speed camera quality control systems
- Troubleshoot to determine the root cause of equipment failure and perform corrective maintenance accordingly.
- Effectively communicate with peers and management
- Do you have experience in industrial maintenance?
- Do you have a certificate or degree covering industrial, electricity, high/low voltage, AC/DC, from a technical or vocational school?
- Are you able to work in high/low-temperature environments?
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficient use of hand tools
- Knowledge of electronic components and their use in electronic circuits.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to repair complex circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Ability and willingness to operate industrial vehicles.
- Preferred - Three years' electronics experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment or process control systems
