- Compiling and maintaining personnel files - hardcopies and electronic
- Assist in facilitating the recruitment and selection process
- Prepare HR contracts and documents
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process
- Maintain all HR schedules for accurate record keeping
- Assist staff with HR related queries
- Maintain and manage the benefits schedules for submission
- Liaise with external partners re staff benefit queries
- Book training and manage all related administration and record keeping
- Assist with all HR and staff wellbeing projects
- Assist with leave management
- Transcribe minutes at meetings and disciplinary hearings
- Primary reliever for the Receptionist
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the HR and Office Manager
- Matric Certificate
- An HR Certificate or Diploma would be advantageous, or studying towards one
- Must ideally have 2 years' experience in a generalist HR support role
- Must be proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of the BCEA and LRA
- Be able to use discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Be professional in approach and appearance with a vibrant personality
- Be able to interact in a polite and positive manner at all times
- Have the ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Be able to use initiative, pay attention to detail and have a strong sense of urgency
- Be reliable and punctual at all times
