- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Surgical Technology or most recent position within one year as Surgical Technologist in a clinic or hospital setting with five years' experience.
- Minimum of 0-3 years' experience for a graduate or 5-6 years for current Surgical Technologist.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) strongly preferred. Current CPR certification is required.
- Under minimal supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in an environment that may include all aspects of cutaneous oncology both medical and surgical.
- Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e., exams, procedures, and patient education.
- Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones, and maintaining physicians' schedules.
- Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
