Service Writer and Rental Coordinator

- Receive incoming field calls from customers regarding maintenance needed on equipment.
- Dispatch technicians to job sites.
- Open work orders as directed by the Service Manager and responsible for timely processing until closed and invoiced.
- Invoice customers in a timely manner once repair orders are complete.
- Maintain Service Department filing records.
- Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders.
- Monitor Service Technician efficiency reports.
- Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
- Follow up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager.
- Complete rental processes for the branch including quoting, coordinating deliveries/pickups, customer billing and tracking rental inventory.
- Prepare and manage rental agreements with customers.
- Assist in collection calls on past-due rental invoices as needed.
- Previous material handling industry experience is preferred.
- Associate degree in Business/Marketing or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
