Senior BI Developer

• Act as a Power BI Administrator, overseeing the configuration, management, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards. Develop and maintain comprehensive Business Intelligence solutions using BI tools and technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve any Helpdesk tickets relating to BI.
• Leverage Power BI, Dynamics AX, and Power Query to create intuitive, interactive, and insightful visualizations and reports that support optimal performance of our end-to-end processes.
• Utilize the latest versions of SQL Server to query and troubleshoot databases for reporting and analytics. Create, deploy, and manage reports and data integration processes using SSRS and SSIS. Demonstrate proven experience with source control processes and tools for versioning and collaboration.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive action to support process improvement and achieve strategic business growth.
• Work with project management frameworks and development lifecycles. Develop, troubleshoot, and improve current Analysis Services Tabular Cubes and/or Power BI data models for optimal analysis of data.
• Resolve and document common BI issues for the wider IT Team to use.
• Set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment. Serve as a positive, dynamic member of the team that displays the best work ethic, creative problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and proactive approach, while sharing and coaching on best practice.
• Use strong communication and listening skill to collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring that BI solutions can scale across the globe.

• Proven experience as a BI Full Stack Developer (Power BI Administrator level) with a track record of successfully delivering end-to-end BI solutions.
• Experience working with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem is very desirable. Strong competence in Power BI, Dynamics AX, and Power Query for supporting and creating compelling data visualizations.
• Understanding of DWH design, including dimensional modelling and data mining.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with the latest versions of SQL Server.
• Proficiency in SSRS and SSIS for reporting and data integration.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to assess and prioritize business needs, be proactive, and work on own initiative.
• Attention to detail is paramount for a senior Power BI developer, as precision in data analysis and reporting is the foundation upon which informed business decisions are made.

• The preferred candidate should demonstrate proficiency in effectively managing priorities, establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal customers, and attentively understanding their requirements.
• Effective communication skills are vital, both in explaining complex BI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and in addressing user feedback and concerns.
