- Provide strategic support on projects:
- Translate complex information into simple language or clear frameworks
- Work on collaborative project teams that value the process of understanding the problem and relish divergent, unique solutions
- Investigate and distill large volumes of information on emerging technological, business and societal trends (for example, “the internet of things” or “literacy and learning science”)
- Prepare and conduct interviews with a variety of stakeholders for example subject matter experts, product creators, business leaders, consumers
- Conducts desk research and organizes information to answer focused questions
- Takes meeting notes and/or interview notes and helps synthesize key themes and takeaways
- Project manage concurrent projects:
- Monitor project progress with project leadership including tracking the status of tasks, budget, and deliverables
- Schedule internal and external meetings, review sessions, and debriefs
- Capture and communicate meeting notes, decisions, and follow-up items
- Regularly communicate and collaborate with those involved in the projects (both internally and externally)
- Provide operations support and goal tracking for Practice Area and operations team:
- Meeting facilitation
- Meeting scheduling and agenda drafting
- Understand and maintain iF’s internal systems for up-to-date Deal and Project status
- Provide additional support as needed
- We understand relevant experience can come from countless pathways. The right person for this role could be someone who has:
- A BA/BS or equivalent education experience
- An Associate's degree plus 1-5 additional years of relevant work experience
- A professional certification in project management, strategy, or related fields, such as: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) + 1-5 additional years of relevant experience
- Military experience with relevant skills and responsibilities
- Non-traditional degree completion (certification, technical skills boot camps) + 1-5 additional years of relevant experience
- 0 - 2 years of previous experience in project management or strategy development
- Fearless and independent thinker: someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions and seek creative solutions

- Strong proficiency in standard office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Drive) and interest in quickly learning and mastering new tools (Airtable, Harvest, HubSpot, Parallax and more)
