Job Description:As a Temporary Accounting Clerk, you will assist our finance team by performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform data entry for financial transactions and maintain updated records in our accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial and accounting matters.
  • Support the finance team with audits and compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the finance team.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Proven minimum of 2+ years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
