Human by nature.Raw Material Planner - Your future position?As the Raw Material Planner , you will manage material planning for raw materials to maintain smooth manufacturing and timely customer supply. Your role involves ensuring material availability during production, minimizing write-offs, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with other departments to enhance processes. You will be reporting to the Assistant Supply Chain Manager while being based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:Review and analyze procurement requirements in MRP for timely customer response, raw material availability, and waste reduction.Release purchase requisitions for raw materials based on MOQ and lead time to support manufacturing requirements.Develop a planning/schedule that is 100% executable and meets productivity targets to fulfill production plans.Cultivate constructive relationships with teams such as Finished Goods Planning, Quality, Receiving, Logistics, and various functions.Maintain inventory levels and service to meet company targets while ensuring supply chain write-off levels align with the budget.Evaluate slow-moving and obsolete inventory, implementing necessary actions.Share best practices and ideas with the team, involving cross-functional teams to improve efficiency.Support cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives within the organization.Adhere to Givaudan procedures, guidelines, and best practices, particularly in safety, implementing where necessary.You?Are you someone who wants to grow and shape your own world? Then come and join us - and impact your world.Your professional profile includes:2-4 years of experience in raw materials planning, materials management or production planning.Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent field.Experience within the flavor, food, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or other manufacturing industries.Familiarity with systems and analytical tools such as SAP, Power BI, BO, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Understanding of inventory management, demand and supply planning is advantageous.A continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical skills and comfortable with numerical data.Demonstrates independence and a proactive approach besides stakeholder management and communication skills.Able to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.Our BenefitsAttractive package with benefitsExcellent opportunities for progressive learning and developmentA creative team environment that will inspire youComprehensive healthcare and retirement plan#LI-OnsiteAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
