- Greet guests upon arrival and seat them at the appropriate tables.
- Present menus and inform guests about daily specials.
- Have complete knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
- Provide recommendations and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Deliver all food and beverages to guests, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to all requests.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address and concerns or issues.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including but not limited to tables, chairs, and the server alley.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service and contribute to a positive and welcoming work environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitations guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and other employees.
- Adhere to all company policies, including uniform standards, attendance, and punctuality.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required to stay informed about menu changes, service standards, and company policies.
- Previous experience as a server or host preferred, but not required.
- Obtain and maintain a valid State Alcohol Certificate through Responsible Beverage Service Training Nebraska. You must present evidence of a valid certificate before or on your first day of employment.
- Obtain and maintain a valid City Alcohol Permit through Responsible Beverage Service Training Nebraska. You must present evidence of a valid permit before or on your first day of employment.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler’s Permit through the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department. You must present evidence of a valid permit before or on your first day of employment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability and passion to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to see, hear, stand, walk, lift and carry various items for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be at least 19 years of age and have legal authorization to work in the United States.
