This role is responsible for supporting the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications for BREIT. This hire will be involved in a collaborative effort to support the strategy, development, and execution of marketing initiatives to promote the capital raising efforts of BREIT and its distribution partners. The Senior Associate will focus on synthesizing portfolio data and key real estate trends to create marketing content for BREIT’s financial advisor and investor audiences and will spend significant time with members of Blackstone’s real estate group, as well as work closely with the Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions and Firm marketing teams. The main areas of responsibility for the role include:
  • Synthesize portfolio data and key real estate and macroeconomic trends to develop portfolio and macro viewpoints in close coordination with Blackstone’s research and investment strategist teams, as well as Blackstone Real Estate’s acquisitions and asset management teams
  • Work with BREIT business leaders and Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions and Firm marketing teams to translate viewpoints and create new marketing content and update existing content, including long-form thought pieces, white papers, commentary, presentation materials, webinars and talking points
  • Partner with Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions and Firm marketing teams to:
  • Project manage marketing collateral
  • Strategize on content pipeline and curate and oversee content calendars
  • Manage and optimize relationships with external agencies
  • Assess audience measurement and research to track the efficacy of key messages, content formats and distribution tactics
  • Ensure quality control across writing, data visualization and design
  • Become an expert on BREIT’s structure and investments
  • Ensure content complies with global marketing regulations and Blackstone’s brand and messaging guidelines
  • Implement proactive client service initiatives for the business
  • Serve as a mentor to analysts and associates and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications:Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical, writing and time management skills, the successful candidate must have:
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Highly motivated and demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors
  • Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, often under competing deadlines
  • Prior work experience in research, investor relations and/or real estate private equity is preferred
  • Ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed materials and information for existing and prospective investors; strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience overseeing and building corporate / financial services content
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leaders to communicate goals, key initiatives and results
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn
  • Operate with the highest degree of integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
