We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled appellate attorney to join our client’s legal team. As an appellate partner, you will be responsible for representing clients in appeals before state and federal appellate courts. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to showcase their expertise in appellate advocacy. If you’ve been looking for a hybrid role, this may be for you!Responsibilities:- Prepare and file appellate briefs, motions, and other legal documents.- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support appellate arguments.- Review trial records and transcripts to identify potential appellate issues.- Develop persuasive legal arguments and present them effectively in written and oral form.- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to strategize and build strong appellate cases.- Represent clients at appellate hearings and argue cases before appellate courts.- Stay updated on changes in appellate law and case precedents.Requirements:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.- Admitted to practice law in Washington.- Minimum 15+ years of experience as an appellate attorney.- Experience arguing cases before state and federal appellate courts.- If you have portable business, great, there is plenty of work to keep you busy so it’s not required.Preferred Qualifications:- Published appellate opinions.- Membership in relevant legal associations or organizations.Our client values diversity, teamwork, and professional growth.
