IT, telekommunikációdatabase administratorRResponsibilities: YOU will be involved in the following tasks: -Responsible for the daily operation and performance of SQL Server instances in both on-prem and Cloud environments -Installation and configuration of database server instances, according to Celanese standards and best practices -Troubleshoot database server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends -Monitor database servers for required maintenance, including database backup and disaster recovery, database version lifecycles and patching -Review and execute database change scripts provided by third party vendors and application development teams, providing guidance and modifications as needed -Follow Celanese standard ITIL and DevOps processes for Incident and Change Management -Review and maintain proper database security, applying least privilege model -Monitor and troubleshoot database performance utilizing best practices for optimizing hardware, O/S and instance configuration, and database architecture design -Create and maintain database inventory informationQualifications: What YOU will bring to the team: -Candidate must possess strong technical skills and experience with SQL Server (1-3 years experience) -Capability to work with project managers and service delivery owners, and development teams to help design and document support processes. -Candidate must be able to communicate effectively, while working in a team environment. -Excellent written, verbal and communication skills are required. -Proficiency in MS Word,Excel and Outlook are part of this requirement. -Candidate must understand ITIL and DevOps change management processes.
