With headquarters in Cincinnati and offices in Columbus, Ohio, and Raleigh, North Carolina, BHDP has created a nationally recognized practice focused on delivering dynamic, transformative results for our clients.Your Role + The OpportunityAs the Senior Architect, you will join the firm at our Cincinnati, Ohio office and lead the projects from design through construction to successful completion on our Workplace, Higher Education, and Government teams. Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design, and technical knowledge. This management-level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth.The Role Priorities
  • Manage the clients, project staff, and consultants through the project process for multiple complex projects.
  • Utilize operational management tools, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project team development.
  • Manage and Develop project documents per client, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high-quality staff with leadership potential.
  • Create and foster relationships with key clients while managing client expectations.
  • Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts, and motivate the project team.
  • Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members.
  • Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with the BHDP Collective Ambition.
Skills + Qualifications
  • A professional, accredited degree in architecture with 10+ years of experience and professional registration is preferred.
  • Experience with workplace projects and clients highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Expert knowledge in advanced technology (e.g., Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino)
  • Demonstrated project management and staff leadership success.
  • A drive to achieve.
