The position is responsible for timely and correct filing of Statutory Financial Statements and Tax returns for dedicated entities in EMEA RegionYour duties:

Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time in compliance with the statutory accounting standards
Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure timely submission and filing
Provide support and expertise to other Finance Teams regarding statutory accounting matters
Ensure the readiness of financial statements for review by external auditors
Liaise with/be the Point of Contact (POC) for external and internal auditors regarding statutory and tax matters
Ensure tax returns are filed accurately and on time
Liaise with external tax consultants and the tax authorities regarding regular tax filings
Be the Point of Contact (POC) for external tax consultants regarding new business scenarios
Identify potential improvements initiatives and drive standardization across the Statutory and Tax processes
Participate in the transfer of Statutory and tax related activities from the EMEA Region to the SSC in Warsaw

Requirements:

Qualified Polish/international accountant (e.g., CPA; ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or similar
min. 2 years' experience in a similar position in a multinational company
Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS or any local GAAP
Very good English - must have
Knowledge of Polish GAAP will be a strong asset
Experience in the SSC environment will be a strong asset
Knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office will be a strong asset
