We are looking for a driven & efficient Warehouse Supervisor to organize & coordinate receiving, warehousing and distribution operations, adding value to a company with significant growth. You will oversee all functions of the company's production unit, relevant to securing the maintenance and distribution of sensitive dairy products, according to company, ISO standards and client specifications (big Retailers network).Ultimately, you should be able to ensure distribution targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.Reporting line: Supply Chain Manager. Team of subordinates: 18Responsibilities

Supervises warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Oversees receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Sets-up layout and ensures efficient/optimal space utilization
Initiates, coordinates and ensures optimal operational policies and procedures
Adheres to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintains standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manages stock control and reconciles with data storage system
Liaises with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Plans work rotas, assigns tasks appropriately and appraises results – committing on optimizing shifts/people schedules for warehouse efficiency and employee satisfaction
Recruits, selects, trains/coaches and motivates employees
Produces reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc), working with the Supply Chain Manager for annual budget and monthly reviews
Receives feedback for warehouse operations and monitors the quality of services provided
Acts on a 6-day work week

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Warehouse executive, with supervisory duties and fresh products/for daily consumption (=mandatory experience)
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Team leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, doer and hands on mentality
BSc degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
