We are looking for a responsible and skilled mechanic to join our Lease and Operations team in Luqa, Malta. Candidate must be able to communicate in either Maltese or English.This position calls for a level-headed and skilled mechanic who is able to work under pressure and as part of a team. The selected person will report to the Chief Operations Officer and the Workshop Manager, and will form part of the team responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the Company’s fleet of cars.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.Competencies

Tidy and clean workplace; perform basic maintenance of tools and equipment (installations)
Register follow-up data for interventions and transfer info to relevant service/department
Estimate expenses and repair times and draw up cost estimate for intervention
Install extras in private/industrial vehicles (comfort/protection systems, window tinting, clutches...)
Work on engines: electric
Detect malfunctions and determine technical solutions for the repair of vehicles and equipment
Carry out maintenance operations or fast-service interventions to a vehicle
Test and tune vehicle
Carry out test drive with private or industrial vehicle
Work on engines: diesel
Work on engines: petrol
Work on vehicles: light vehicles
Prepare vehicles before delivery/first use (clean inside and outside, check and fill fluid reservoirs...)
Replace or repair motors, gearboxes, clutches, suspensions, starters...
Execute technical inspection on private or industrial vehicle
Work on vehicles: private cars
