The Fitness Manager will manage all Personal Trainers, ensuring a professional and targeted fitness experience for all personal training clientele. The Fitness Manager will partner with the General Manager to exceed monthly revenue goals. Create a productive environment where all Personal Trainers grow and maximize their potential. Effectively execute and direct the activities of Personal Trainers by continuously providing timely feedback, coaching, mentoring and developing each Personal Trainer team member.Motivation
  • Provide inspiration and encouragement to the Personal Training team, as well as clients.
  • Assist clients in obtaining their health and fitness goals.
  • Motivate and teach clients how to improve their endurance, strength, flexibility and overall body composition.
  • Provide positive reinforcement for optimal results.
Revenue Generation
  • Drive Personal Training revenue through flawless execution and meeting established goals.
  • Manage call- backs, schedule appointments, retain current clientele, community outreach, promotional marketing
  • Successfully coaching Personal Trainers in developing a client base to achieve monthly sales goals.
Customer Service
  • Ensure client satisfaction with exceptional results and superior, customized personal training based on individualized goals.
  • Meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Deliver comprehensive health & fitness programs for clients in a fun, enthusiastic, educational, and supportive manner.
Requirements
  • Passion and knowledge in health and fitness
  • Current CPR certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in a fitness related field preferred; HS Diploma or GED is required
  • National Certification (ACE, ACTION, AAPTE, AFAA, ACSM, Cooper Institute, ISSA, NASM, NCCPT, NCSF, NESTA, NETA, NFPT, NSCA)
  • Recruit, Interview and Train new hires
  • Calculate, monitor, and facilitate departmental payroll
  • 3-5 years of prior personal training or coaching experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, Internet, software programs, & email
  • Proven track record as a Personal Trainer
  • Personable, enthusiastic, optimistic and outgoing personality
  • Positive attitude and collaborative team player
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and professionalism
