Job SummaryThe Foundation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all special events, annual giving, drives, appeals, and fund raising programs within the Foundation. Provides staff support to Foundation volunteers and facilitates fund raising activities. Assists with daily management of Volunteer Services, Auxiliary, Valet/Concierge, and recruitment. Coordinates Foundation committee meetings including Golden Apple Society, annual golf outing, Festival of Trees and training of volunteers.Job SpecificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. Previous experience in planning events and implementing fundraising programs is beneficial. Donor cultivation skills desired. Experience in recruiting, training and managing volunteers preferred. Grant Writing experience helpful. Prefer at least one year non-profit (preferable health care) experience. Work towards accreditation from Certified Fund Raising Executive or similar crediting body within one year of employment.JOB KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of fund-raising and donor recognition. Interpersonal skills required to relate appropriately to a variety of people.ABILITIES, INTERESTS AND TEMPERAMENTS:
