Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok. The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world.The Head of Emerging Creator Management will be responsible for leading a team who manage and grow emerging creators at scale for North America (NA) on TikTok, developing and championing best practices in scaled management to support adaptation across all regions. This role will report into the Head of Established and Emerging Creator management and be part of the North America creator management leadership team whose broader team remit includes best-in-class management of our emerging, established and top creators for the North America (NA) region, as well as developing a global, scalable approach to strategic partnerships with our top creators around the world, working closely with the regional teams.Responsibilities:
- Lead a team focused on growing cohorts of emerging creators in NA based on key business priorities, centralized eligibility criteria and measurement frameworks, regional needs, priority communities and portfolio capacity.
- Serve as the primary consultant and expert on scaled community management and partner with the Creator Growth & Development team to inform adaptation and iteration of the creator management framework, operationalize and support scaling across the regions
- Collaborate closely with the established management team to support the rollout and adoption of scaled education, scaled programs, product adoption initiatives with managed creators in the NA region, contributing to measurable success metrics for these initiatives
- Partner with the managed creator support team to understand and advocate for creator support needs and monitor any sensitive, urgent, or repeat issues facing managed creators related to their on-platform content performance.
- Identify key case studies and examples from managed Creators in the NA region to be highlighted in education initiatives and creator campaigns
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners, especially Marketing, Public Policy and Comms teams, on initiatives related to advocacy
- Draft proposals and strategies in collaboration with the wider central creators team for initiatives that could support TikTok's DEI, XFN campaigns and innovationQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced background in leading and managing teams focused on the creator and content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other top content, entertainment and social media/influencer platforms or companies or relevant industries
- Exceptional creator/partner management capabilities and ability to develop these capabilities in their team
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs
- Leadership in understanding key business priorities, including the ability to clearly articulate key issues, recommend solutions, and drive projects start-to-finish to serve those core business priorities
- Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with other stakeholder teams and senior leadership
- Bachelor's Degree in related fieldPreferred Qualifications:
- Highly collaborative leader with strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, geographies to drive impact
- The ability to manage teams to meet deadlines and drive strong execution in a fast-paced environment
- Exemplary interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
