- Responsible for the operation of all administrative functions, with emphasis on reservations, customer services, and inventory management as well as staffing and scheduling for front desk support in the golf shop. Direct and manage starters and players assistants at the Aspen Golf Club for daily business.
- Supports all golf coordination's of special events, tournaments, group outings, trainings, hiring, and other support services.
- Assists in the coordination and tracking of the COMPASS plan measures.
- Train front line on answering, informing, and assisting calls to appropriate personnel, takes messages, and returns phone calls as necessary; provides information to customers.
- Assists visitors and provides the information or services to satisfy the customer's needs. Analyzes and distributes incoming correspondence.
- Assists in Golf special events and administration, in collaboration with the Golf Professionals.
- Serves as the first contact concerning Human Resource questions for employees as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
- Serves as the first contact for policies and procedures for both staff and the public as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
- Provides support and coordination of golf leagues, Aspen Junior Golf, and special events.
- May develop and implement outreach strategies to increase public awareness regarding sales, events, and marketing.
- Assists the Golf Professionals in managing and monitoring retail and payroll budgets.
- Ensure that invoices and special orders are ordered, tracked, and processed.
- Track inventory, manage user accounts, and tee sheet management.
- Responsible for overseeing all deposits, bank bags, and change bags
- Responsible for routine inventory checks and reports.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
- Knowledge of detailed golf and retail management as applicable to assigned work.
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively through a variety of methods, such as email, written reports, and verbally to staff and public.
- Ability to work with and effectively direct a productive team to achieve established outcomes and goals.
- Ability to identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Possesses interpersonal skills including understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, cooperation, concern, and politeness to others and relates well to different people from varied backgrounds and different situations.
- Knowledge of modern golf and office processes and procedures including managing files and records, tee sheet management and organization, retail operations.
- Maintains a high level of organization and orderliness.
- Indoors: Golf clubhouse and front counter.
- Outdoors/Off-Site: Assist with groups and events on the golf course and practice facilities as well as meetings at other locations.
- Lifting & Carrying: Occasionally up to 25 lbs. such as files, boxes, equipment, etc.
- Physical: Reaching, standing, sitting, typing, talking, crouching, kneeling, seeing, driving, and hearing.
