We also specialize in corporate trust, bankruptcy, class action and utility administration, and a range of other diversified financial and governance services.The Event Marketing Manager oversees all aspects of event planning and execution for Computershare-hosted and industry tradeshows and events, both in-person and virtually. Primary responsibilities for this position include meetings with internal partners to work out event or webinar details, research and book locations, food, entertainment and to coordinate activities with tradeshow vendors.Keep reading to see if this position sparks your enthusiasm.A role you will loveThe Event Marketing Manager will implement B2B events at a segment and Issuer Services level to help the organization realize its business objectives. This includes planning, development, and execution of virtual and physical events that are targeted to clients as well as prospects, across the US and Canada. The type of events includes webinars, virtual and face-to-face client events, roundtables, industry events and workshops. The position requires a hands-on, collaborative, and flexible approach with the ability to oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously while driving aggressive deadlines. The role is best suited for a high-achiever with proven ability to contribute individually as well as part of a results-focused department.Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop event strategies to drive business and marketing objectives - activity to include trade conferences and exhibitions, client conferences, briefings/networking events, webinars, and hospitality
  • Advise on experiential and event marketing best practices and make recommendations to improve event outcomes based on the recorded performance vs marketing and business KPIs
  • Recommend events and experiences for various market segments based on business requirements
  • Work within our digital event management system, registration platform and event communications - continuously improving all aspects of the end-to-end customer journey and driving internal efficiencies. Knowledge of Eloqua and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Work within our virtual meeting and webinar platform, Bizzabo.
  • Create feedback mechanisms, including surveys, to gather actionable feedback from events delegates
  • Create event reports illustrating how each event has performed against pre-defined objectives, capturing learning points and recommendations for future events
  • Source and review suppliers of all branded merchandise and events-related equipment
  • Ensure that thorough risk assessments are carried out for all events that we organise or attend
What will you bring to the role?You will bring a minimum of 4 years of working experience in creating and executing a wide variety of marketing events within a dynamic matrix organization, ideally in both a consumer marketing environment and a B2B marketing environment. You would have the aptitude to work with external agencies and internal stakeholders across regions and the ability to adapt approach and style to different markets as appropriate, being sensitive to language and cultural differences.You would need to be adaptable, dynamic, and results-driven and be comfortable to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have the ability to prioritize effectively.Other key skills required for the role include:
  • An equivalent of a Marketing Qualification
  • You will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to overcome obstacles and see through plans. They will be highly organised with a systematic, detail driven approach to planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across various business functions, including event suppliers and internal teams, is essential for success.
