• Performs all tasks in a safe manner
• Ensure that each customer receives prompt and courteous service providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding store conditions, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
• Suggestive selling, and upselling to each guest
• Adheres to all procedures set forth by Cinnabon and Auntie Anne’s
• Ensures all product is kept fresh, and discarded after its expiration time.
• Ensure all products are labeled correctly, with the date prepared, and the discard date.
• Utilize FIFO- first in first out practices: ensure older product is placed in front of new product when deliveries have been made.
• Prepares the Clipper Proprietary Food Offer neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
• Record all food and refrigeration temperatures twice daily
• Follow all prep lists according to business demands of the day
• Maintain adequate par levels on food items to cover all day parts
• Cleans & maintains all equipment daily to ensure work area is visually appealing
• Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
• Understands and follows all sales policies and procedures on ALL restricted sales items (e.g. lottery, tobacco and alcohol sales).
• Scans/rings all sales and receives proper payment for sales.
• Keeps accurate cash controls, and is accountable for all cash variances.
• Use correct pricing as listed in the price book or grocery catalog for all merchandise.
• Stays familiar with the Company Price Book, Team Member Handbook, and bulletins.
• Shares the responsibility for controlling store inventory.
• Operate store-related equipment utilized in the performance of job duties including a security system, cash register system, and electrical credit card machines.
• Follows company policy with regard to safe security and excessive cash in registers, as directed by Store Manager.
• Completes a shift change report at the end of shift, as directed by Store Manager.
• Ensures Store Manager/Assistant Manager is made aware of all sales cash or operating discrepancies.
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly food inventories and their calculations, as required.
• Responsible for meeting the weekly and monthly sales and margin goals that are set by the Food Service Manager.
• Properly clocks in for all hours worked on the computer system, and performs weekly verification of all hours worked.
• Immediately advises Store Manager/Assistant Manager of any maintenance problems.
• Performs specific tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Adheres to all city, county, state and federal regulations.
• Must complete the Food Service Specialist Certification Program.
