- Lead and manage team of manufacturing engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, provide guidance, mentorship, performance feedback.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, processes, procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, quality standards. Work cross-functionally with design, quality, production, ensure seamless integration of new products, technologies, manufacturing methods.
- Conduct assessments of processes, identify areas to improve, implement corrective actions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, increase overall efficiency. Continuous improvement initiatives via lean manufacturing principles, process optimization.
- Monitor/analyze manufacturing metrics (yield, cycle time, scrap rates, equipment uptime) identify trends and opportunities to improve. Oversee maintenance and repair for production equipment, ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure proper installation, commissioning, troubleshooting of machinery and tools. Maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, external stakeholders to ensure availability of resources and technical support.
- Compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory standards through manufacturing processes. Develop and manage manufacturing engineering budget, ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, technologies related to automotive powertrain and electric vehicle part manufacturing.
- Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
- Experience in managing a team, leading cross-functional projects in manufacturing environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach to decision-making. Project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols in automotive industry.
- AutoCAD or other manufacturing software knowledge.
