- Write up work orders
- Inspect, diagnose and repair a variety of Class 3-8 trucks, to include; parts replacement, air brake systems/components, tires, wiring, lights, etc.
- Perform basic and routine preventative maintenance on vehicles, along with DOT inspections
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Accurately complete all DOT forms and all other forms of documentation
- Work with a high level of productivity and be able to work within time constraints
- Communicate effectively with management and our customers

- Minimum of 3 years truck maintenance and diesel engine repair experience required
- Familiar with FMCSA pass/fail criteria for annual DOT inspections
- Tech-savvy with a smartphone
- Must speak, read, and write English fluently
- ASE certification, not required
- CDL-A preferred, not required
- Fleet truck maintenance experience
- Diesel tech school certification, not required
- Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds);
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods;
- Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
