From scanning for illicit material at ports and borders to predicting future events and instability up to five years in advance, our products help customers make the world safer.The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Intelligence Analyst Current Intel to work at a government facility in Reston, Virginia on the IMAX Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience assisting DTRA-OI-OA Focused Support Decisive Action program in its mission to counter improvised threats. You will provide support to our client, and forward deployed units, focused on countering improvised threats and the networks that finance, build or employ such threats.What You’ll Get to Do:As an Intelligence Analyst - Current Intel, you will provide embedded and reach back support to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and Improvised Threat efforts and operations executed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), committed warfighting units and partners. You will provide multi-intelligence analysis and fusion that integrates existing national-level products and databases to define patterns of threat and network activity and narrow the search space to conduct CWMD operations. As required, you will interact directly with DTRA Senior Staff and deployed intelligence consumers during the development of intelligence products to meet intelligence requests for information.More About the Role:You will work closely with other members of your team to identify trends, capabilities, and vulnerabilities of emerging threats. Work within production schedules and coordinate with all parties involved to produce, deliver, and archive finished intelligence briefings to inform the command based on DTRA’s critical information requirements. These products will align with directed intelligence production standards, review and edit graphics, including interactive media, assist in the development of visual aids, and ensure proper formatting, verify proper sourcing of products and graphics, track production, document and ensure workflow through the production process.Prepare and deliver the Daily/Weekly Update for DTRA’s Director.Provide information and analysis support to DTRA working groups and analytical teams.Conduct continuous research and maintain an awareness of current WMD and improvised threat technology and TTPs used by the state and non-state human enemy networks.Apply all-source analysis to improve the effectiveness of WMD and improvised threat to global situational awareness operations.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.You should be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead on product development.Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.Bachelor's degree and four to eight years of relevant experience in intelligence analysis.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Experience working at a major command, combatant command, or service-level headquartersUnderstanding of the levels of warfare and the nuances that exist between tactical, operational, and strategic intelligenceAbility to assess and convey the strategic consequence of tactical or operational events or developmentsFamiliarity with key national security documents including the National Security Strategy and National Military Strategy and the National Defense StrategyExperience at a service-level Science and Technology (S&T) center or IC agency working emerging technology issuesExperience with WMD threats, capabilities, and associated security issuesMore than three years of experience conducting network analysis in support of CWMD - including counter-facilitation.More than three years of experience providing CWMD intelligence support and/or asymmetric threat analysis.More than ten years of military experience, and/or a combination of military and IC Agency experience, including recent combat deployments, and be well-versed in all areas of military intelligence.Expert understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.Expert understanding of Intel-related databases such as M3, NCTC Online, Pulse, Wire, DataXplorer, PROTON SIGINT Database.Practical understanding of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.Original Posting Date: 2024-02-19While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range: Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
