The Senior Analyst, Global Category Marketing will work within the Global Category Marketing function. This global function is key in the development of the company wide annual growth marketing plan aligning T&HS Business Segments & Segment Marketers, Global Categories and Regional Marketing priorities across Ingredion. Furthermore, the function evaluates and sizes new growth pockets and supports global category marketing initiatives. The Senior Analyst will support these activities by performing opportunity sizing, prioritizing growth opportunities, and developing the global growth plan. The position reports to the Director, Global Category Lead T&HS, Bakery & Snacks Lead and Marketing Excellence.As a Senior Analyst, Global Category Marketing, your responsibilities will include:
  • Working together with marketers from the Business Segments, Global Category Leads, regional G2M/commercial teams, and application category leads from the global/region to support the development of the annual global Growth Marketing Plan
  • Assessing the size and opportunity of potential new category markets or innovation areas of interest to Ingredion
  • Working closely with segments, regions and the Insights team to size and evaluate business opportunities
  • Assisting in the development of Growth Marketing Plan templates and tools to better construct ad deliver the overall plan.
  • Prioritizing growth opportunities across Business Segments and Categories
  • Developing or leveraging new analytical tools (e.g. PowerBI, AI-Co-Pilot, etc.) to accelerate data analysis and intelligence gathering, and to create efficiencies for the organization.
The Senior Marketing Analyst position is well-suited for you if you bring:
  • Experience in opportunity sizing and prioritization of business opportunities, leveraging external and internal datasets, and leveraging insights and trend analysis from the Insight Center of Excellence
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders across a company
  • Good understanding of the food industry and its ingredient business
  • Mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Min. of 5 years of experience in strategy or category marketing, ideally in a B2B context
  • Strong strategic marketing toolkit of methodology and practices
  • Strong skills in quantitatively assessing and analyzing complex data
