DescriptionPosition at BayMark Health ServicesBusiness Development Director, Outpatient ServicesBayMark Health Services is looking for a Business Development Director of Outpatient Services who will be responsible for providing marketing and business development consultation, training and coaching to designated facilities within BayMark's OTP service line to support census growth, customer-oriented inquiry processes, the provision of outstanding customer service delivery and patient retention. Travel as necessary - potential of up to 60%.Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and direction on the development and implementation of the marketing, community education, customer service and patient retention plans for designated clinics.
  • Analyze facility progress toward census goals and objectives and assist directors in achieving their marketing goals.
  • Provide training to directors and facility staff members on topics specific to customer service, 'front door' operations/ inquiry handling, account management and referral development; individual and group training sessions.
  • Maintains HIPAA standards and regards all medical and healthcare information pertaining to patients and employees as confidential.
  • Required travel up to 60% of the time to designated facilities to work with Treatment Center Directors through support and trainings by conference calls, video, onsite at the clinic or in small group sessions, to train and coach for referral development and program promotion.
  • Collaborates with marketing team members, directors and operators to assess and verify accuracy of website content and for the clinics.
  • Enhances professional growth and development of self and others through the development of business development trainings, census growth and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Develops and executes strategies to ensure service line success.
  • Works collaboratively with the RVPs and RDOs to assist with development of strategic initiatives and solutions to improve operations and volume growth through differentiation and building market preference for the organization's OTP services.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including: interviewing, hiring, engaging, retaining and training employees, planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance, and problem resolution.
  • Track, monitor and report on major competitor updates.
  • Provides timely reports as requested.
  • Works proactively and independently demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills, consulting with stakeholders and seeking advice when appropriate for situations outside authority and expertise.
  • Support Programs by providing training and support on how to effectively respond to referral leads.
  • Comply with BayMark policies and procedures, Compliance Policy and Code of Ethics.
  • Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the Company's mission.
  • Regular attendance is to be maintained.
  • Conduct other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years successful experience in healthcare marketing and sales
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and budget effectively without close supervision.
  • Must be a self-starter, creative, proactive, organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills; an inherent curiosity to ferret out opportunities and identify barriers.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Salesforce, e-mail marketing and the willingness to learn new programs as required.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large volume of detail work accurately and efficiently and meet deadlines
