Depot Manager - Mossel BayFull job descriptionPaysAfrique du SudLieuSouth AfricaLieu de travailMOSSELBAAI-DEPOT ROAD(ZAF)DomaineOpérations ExploitationType de contratCDIExpérienceMinimum 3 ansProfil du candidatQualifications Required: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) Experience Required: A minimum of 3 - 5 years working experiencing in LPG industry depot operations with supervisory experienceExperience in Logistics ManagementKnowledge of stock control and management gained in a petrochemical / LPG production or industrial environmentA good knowledge of relevant legislation that impacts on LPG distribution and installations for example OHS-Act, HAZCHEM and relevant SABS regulationsExcellent Knowledge of Industrial RelationsExcellent Knowledge of SAPIntermediate to advanced level micro-soft office proficiency Other: Experience in producing and submitting quality reports as requiredStrong verbal and non-verbal communication skillsGood leader qualitiesStrong problem solving, planning, organising and decision making skillsDrivers Licence and own vehicle (Required) ActivitésStrategyTo manage the entire depot’s operation within the framework of relevant legislation and regulations governing the Industry thus ensuring high customer service levels with the aim of contributing to Totalgaz’s profitability and strategic supply positioning within the market.Health, Safety, environment and Quality:To effectively manage and minimise the risk associated with depot operations by ensuring:Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines and legal requirements within area of responsibility;Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPI’s and risk reduction strategies;That HSE competency requirements are enforced within area of responsibilityConduct proper and timely risk assessment for all risks to health and safety and implement measures to mitigate the identified risks.Manage the upkeep and conditions of all equipment through thorough pre-use, daily, weekly and monthly inspections.Prepare and submit timely all HSEQ related reporting.Conduct weekly and monthly Safety meetings and record all minutes.Manage health and safety, security, emergency systems/procedures, protective clothing requirements and incidents reporting according to company policies and relevant regulations.Manage a safe workplace with minimum risk to health.Implement and Maintain the ONE MAESTRO and Maestro Log SystemIntegrity:Implement and Maintain the Integrity requirementsInitiate meetings with the relevant staff on the depot regarding safety barriersRealization and completion of the integrity checks based on the guide of constraints, reports and KPI`sDowngrade modes requirements and put in place validated downgrade modes safety critical barriersKey resultsAchieve budgeted volumesCoordinate daily logistics and production to ensure cost effective transport and productionManage and control depot budgeted Operating expenditureManage the depot’s administration within Company guidelines that will result in improved controls and operation of the depot.Maintain site effectively by investigating and reporting variances through reconciliations and MBR and SAP. Stock Reconciliations are to be performed daily.Submit weekly the credit control reportEnsure that all controls for stock and cash management are in place always and safe guarded at all times.Monitor and Manage overtime on a monthly basisReport consolidated results of the depot and any exceptions thereto monthly together with the corrective action plans to ensure accurate reporting of the depot’s activities and resultsReporting: Submit timely all the reports listed on the reporting deadline scheduleMonitor and report on any other activities and provide relevant information to managementKPI’s – expenditure, SAP exceptions, audit reports (Maestro/ MaestroLOG and Admin etc.), HSEQ stats, transport KPI, stock loss reports, IntegrityReport consolidated results of the depot and any exceptions thereto monthly together with the corrective action plans to ensure accurate reporting of the depot’s activities and resultsManagement:Manage, motivate, train and develop staff according to company policies and ensure that HR procedures are followed.Liaise with other depot managers and departments so as to understand all necessary aspects of the depot and company.Liaise with external agencies and authorities as and when necessary (contractors, health and safety inspectors, fire department, police, etc.)Attend meetings with staff, customers and relevant stakeholders to inform, negotiate and obtain information for sustainable relationships.Manage the depot employees through continuous people management, staff development and coaching / mentoring to ensure a positive working environment that will attract and retain skilled manpower and increase productivityGovernanceTo ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management, for area of responsibilityLegalComply to OHS-ACT 1 (Appoint 8.1) legal compliance to national, environmental and local laws c) appointment and monitoring of Health and Safety Committees (including: Safety Officer, Fire Team and First Aid)Manage the Optimising of Totalgaz use of Depot assets and ensure compliance to Liquid Licence requirements.
