View our to learn more about TheKey.The primary function of the Human Resource Manager is to coordinate HR policies and programs with an emphasis on compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the position works closely with the HR leadership team in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities across the US.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Assist the HR leadership team in the daily administration of other HR services as directed or assigned, including recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, affirmative action/EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the organization.Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal, state, and provincial laws/regulations affecting human resource management. Identify trends that could affect organizational objectives and/or operational resources. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management.Act as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues relating to the assigned program or section area.Works to resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to regional management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Works closely with regional management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Create and implement regional leadership development planning.Support workforce planningIdentifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.Presents training sessions related to the assigned program or section area.Assists with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow.Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.Caregiver Compliance SupportPerforms other related duties as assigned.Required Skills, Education, and Certifications:BS/BA in human resources, or other business-related field or an equivalent amount of experience and training.At least five years of human resource experience.SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.Extensive knowledge of industry regulations and governing laws.Tech-savvy, and comfortable with heavy email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, and Google productsPreferred Skills, Education, and Certifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skillsExcellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsCompetence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the companyPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Business Travel as required - Approximately 10%The information contained here is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
