Job Description:Role Proficiency:Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software EngineeringOutcomes: * Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
  • Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
  • Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
  • Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
  • Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
  • Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
  • Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
  • Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Additional Comments:"Job Responsibilities: JD Edward Technical • Work with end users to assist in issues that may arise in using the application such as configuring the JDE applications, the creation of users, fixing JDE batch issues, and other maintenance tasks. • Trouble shooting and resolution of Oracle JDE ERP incidents, and manage systems integrations to/from JDE Edwards • Sound knowledge of JD Edwards integration techniques, data migration, and reporting tools. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to design effective solutions that optimize business processes using JD Edwards • Create reports and assist users in transferring data using FTP and data transfer tools. • Perform triaging, resolve tickets, and manage SLAs by implement break-fixes. • Implement permanent solution by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the incidents. • Review existing solutions, identify opportunities for continuous improvements, and perform enhancements to systems. • Must be willing to work in shifts, provide hand-over to global teams, and provide on-call support during off-business hours. Key Skills and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 2 - 5 years of relevant experience with following skillsets • JD Edwards World soft ERP Software & integration experience required. • System Configuration and Customization: Oversee the configuration and customization of JD Edwards modules to meet specific business needs while adhering to best practices. • Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to design effective solutions that optimize business processes using JD Edwards. • System Integration: Plan and implement seamless integration of JD Edwards with other business systems, ensuring data consistency and a smooth flow of information. • Experience working in Managed services environment providing application support, with strong knowledge on IT Service Management (ITSM) process including incident, request, and problem management. • Experience working with cross functional teams. • Proficient utilizing Reports Now reporting tools is a plus. • Good functional understanding and configuration of JD Edwards systems in one of the four areas is a plus: (1) Finance & Accounting, (2) Land development and Construction management, (3) Purchasing and Sales, and (4) Master data and Reporting. • Optional expertise: Experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules."Skills:Jd Edwards,Root Cause Analysis,Data MigrationAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
