- Manage and develop a team of Business Intelligence and Data Engineers.
- Lead a team to create actionable insights to answer business questions, drive decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operations.
- Define and drive our business intelligence and visualization strategy and roadmap.
- Present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders, using data-driven storytelling and influence to drive improvements in business operations and strategic change.
- Collaborate with product management, program management, and data science to design and develop information management capabilities.
- Lead the governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.
- Own the design, development, maintenance, and automation of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
- Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Drive technical decisions: you will oversee your team's design, implementation and testing, by providing feedback to ensure they are efficiently delivering high quality products and meeting the needs of our internal customers.
- Drive a Business Intelligence roadmap; prioritize business insight requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business.
- Collaborate and partner with stakeholders to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future information needs.
- Travel 15% each quarter.
- Experience managing a data or BI team
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel
- 10+ years of industry experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Development, or related field, with a track record of producing actionable business insights from large datasets.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBAAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
