- Maintain routine schedule of skills and drills as advertised and promoted through Training HAUS
- Develop and maintain rapport with high level clients engaging in hockey skills/drills
- Provide instruction of hockey specific skills and drills within the scope of practice defined by skills curriculum and proper drill progression.
- Communicate with sport coaches and coworkers in a professional manner
- Collaborate with therapy managers, physical therapists and sports performance coaches across the organization as needed
- Maintain safe environment for self, staff and patients
- Communicate with supervisor regarding any safety or incident report issues occurring during fitness classes or personal training sessions.
- Any and all other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree required in one of the following areas
- Coaching
- Exercise Physiology
- Kinesiology
- Nutrition and Wellness
- Athletic Training
- Physical Therapy
- Proof of up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
- Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
- Complete job required training.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Work in the clinic or outreach setting during business hours
- Travel independently throughout the workplace (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Understand and execute a variety of instructions
- Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to other work locations, if required
