This role will primarily support system level requirements, architecture, and design to advance our USAF Fighter Trainers (including F-15 and F-22).In this role, the team is looking for a naturally self-motivated person with a clear focus on delivering results. We need someone with a demonstrated capability to steer actions with clarity and assume responsibility for those actions. This person will be asked to tackle challenges and find practical solutions. Experience on a USAF fighter trainer platform is preferred, but any military aircraft trainer experience is valuable.Position Responsibilities:Developing and managing requirements using standard Systems Engineering database tools such as DESE, DOORS, and OSEE, following systems engineering processes and best practicesEvaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirementsAssist in the development of the system architectureDocument design elements (including artifacts such as use cases and activity diagrams)Ensure traceability between requirements and design elementsCoordinate efforts and interfaces between multiple engineering disciplinesUnderstand, support, and apply agile principles, practices, and processesListen and support teams in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision makingParticipate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture and designsIdentify and recommend process improvement opportunitiesSupport the development of proposals for future effortsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
