As a software engineer on the Business Product Engineering team, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with Design, Product, Legal, Security, and cross-functional Engineering teams to enhance our B2B and B2C customer experience, integrate with partners across domains, and scale our industry presence. From building reusable UI components, to integrate with cloud API, you will evolve our mobile offerings to handle continuous requests from around the world. eero's iOS app is essential to connecting users and technicians to eero networks, giving them control to manage, troubleshoot, and analyze the fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating new frameworks and tools, mentoring fellow engineers, improving our build process, and shaping eero's future roadmap.About the team
We are scaling the eero Business Product Engineering team and are looking for a motivated, experienced, and product-focused iOS engineer to help us build word-class software that is scalable, highly available, maintainable, and secure. We are a full stack team with specialized developers in mobile, web, and cloud engineering working on key features built around the user experience.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Virtual Location - BRAPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Proficiency with RESTful or gRPC API design and implementation.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
- Ability to drive technical architecture discussions and help inform decisions.
- Experience writing technical specifications and documentation.
