Purchasing Administrator (2015705)Spartanburg, SCPurchasing AdministratorLocation: Spartanburg, SCContract: 6 months with potential extension or conversion to direct hireSchedule: Onsite | Monday to Friday (1st shift)Compensation: $22-$24/hour with optional paid time off and benefitsOnboarding requirement: Drug screen, background check, and employment verificationJOB SUMMARY:The Purchasing Administrator role is pivotal in supporting the purchasing and supply chain departments. It involves coordinating purchasing activities, ensuring smooth operations on a daily basis.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Add - Jaggaer and DLV ERP
  • Creation of purchase orders for non-stock items
  • Receiving non-stock purchase orders
  • Reviewing and resolving invoices
  • Expediting, cancelling, or deferring purchase orders when necessary
  • Generating metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Uploading prints to MoveIt - FTP site
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Data mining for program/purchasing requests
  • Providing general administrative support for the team
  • Proficient in MS Office suite with mid- to advanced-level Excel skills
  • Assisting with non-conforming material returns to suppliers (RGA's, shippers, returns, etc.)
  • Assisting with departmental documentation - work instructions, procedures, training documents
  • Tracking supplier tooling documentation
  • TMC entries/scheduling - Logistics
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of MS Suite, with mid- to advanced-level Excel skills
  • Associate Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in executive administrative or similar role
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to travel locally up to 5%
