- Compensation Analysis:
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive in the region-specific markets.
- Analyze salary survey data and industry trends to make informed recommendations for salary structures, pay grades, and bonus programs.
- Develop and manage the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonuses.
- Administer the job evaluation process to maintain internal equity and ensure fair pay practices.
- Model bonus and incentive programs to drive desired behaviors.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to review and approve salary adjustments, promotions, and other compensation-related changes.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer and manage global benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and work closely with benefits providers to optimize offerings.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes, communicate changes, and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compensation and benefits data.
- Build compensation models in Excel and administer compensation programs.
- Analyze and interpret data related to compensation and benefits to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to support HR and business leaders in decision-making.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Stay up-to-date with relevant labor laws, regulations, and market practices to ensure all compensation and benefits programs remain compliant.
- Assist in the development and implementation of global compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
- Communication and Training:
- Develop and deliver effective communication materials to educate employees about compensation and benefits offerings
- Conduct training sessions or workshops for employees regarding their benefits options and resources.
- Provide training and resources to HR and management on compensation and benefits-related matters.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Legal, and IT, to ensure seamless execution of compensation and benefits programs.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP) preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in global compensation, benefits, and HR systems and experience in data analysis within an HR context is required.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Technology Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems like ADP Workforce Now or similar.
Plano is a city in the state of Texas, just north of downtown Dallas. It is a hub for many corporate headquarters and has been rated by Forbes as the safest city in 2011. Plano has many visitors, 80% of which are business travelers. The Preston Road area is home to major corporate headquarters of Fortune 1000 companies which have brought thousands of jobs to the area.Plano has two major space reserves: Arbor Hills Nature Preserve (200 acres) and Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve (800 acres). Bob Woodruff Park and Oak Point Park are connected by biking trails providing an abundance of outdoor recreation for families in Plano. These parks also include activities such as zip lining and Tarzan swings. They have five recreation centers that feature pools, dog parks, and amphitheaters for entertainment. This represents 84 parks. They feature an annual balloon festival every September that draws thousands.
Collin College has two campuses in Plano. Southern Methodist University (SMU) and Dallas Baptist University also have campuses in Plano. There are 70 public schools and 16 private schools. Plano has more graduates than other comparable communities in Texas, graduating 93% of their classes, and score 18 percentage points higher than the same population in Dallas. Many graduate as National Merit Scholars.Plano is served by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). They provide commuter services via bus and light rail systems. The system is used by 1% of the population.As far as arts, culture, and entertainment, Plano is home to over 700 restaurants. There is a thriving downtown scene that is rated in the top ten within the country. This includes new office spaces as well as major retail establishments.
