Job Description:Provides technical knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering as a problem solver, troubleshooter and engineering resource. Executes projects to improve the reliability of utilities, equipment and systems within the hospital. Writes specifications and standards in accordance with existing local, state and national codes and standards. Provides technical guidance and development assistance to Facilities staff and administration.
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
  • Requires overall knowledge of mechanical or electrical utilities, equipment and systems.
  • Requires overall knowledge of plant engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Requires the ability to develop schematics and write specifications.
  • Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
